ST. LOUIS COUNTY — Two teenagers were still missing Sunday after fleeing a children's facility in north St. Louis County two days before, according to police.
The teens were last seen Friday, the St. Louis County Police Department posted on Facebook.
Police said the teens ran away from Every Child's Hope, a residential treatment facility and school at 8240 St. Charles Rock Road.
Kameron Brown, 14, from the St. Louis area, had been wearing a black jacket and black pants. Kameron is about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs about 135 pounds.
Zakhia Hinkle, 15, was dressed in all-black clothing. Police did not release her height and weight. She is from the Kansas City area and is not believed to have family or friends in the St. Louis area, police said.Â
A 2023 story in the Kansas City Star reported that a 12-year-old named Zakhia Hinkle had been found after going missing.
