Metro (14-5) will take on Veritas Christian (20-5) in a showdown of first-time state qualifiers at 10 a.m. Friday at Soccer Park in Fenton.
The district title was the 14th for top seed Summit (12-9) and fifth in the last seven seasons.
The Panthers (12-11) will host Tolton (16-8) in the Class 2 quarterfinals on Nov. 15.
"We’re here again and it feels good to be in the state final game,” Eagles junior Elliot Nelson said.
Columbia takes on Chicago Academy (17-4-3) in the Class 1A semifinals at 5:30 p.m. at Hoffman Estates High.
Columbia (22-5-3) advanced to play Chicago Academy (18-3-3) at 5 p.m. Thursday in a Class 1A state semifinal at Hoffman Estates High.
Althoff (25-2-1) will square off against Washington (27-1-1) in a super-sectional at 5 p.m. Monday.
Columbia (21-5-3) won 2-0 to capture its third consecutive sectional championship.
Althoff, the defending state champion, will take on Chatham Glenwood at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mascoutah High for the sectional title.
