MICDS (18-4) advanced to its first semifinal round since 2021, where it will face defending champions John Burroughs (16-2) at 4 p.m. Wednesday at SportPort.
“For her to do that was great. She’s a great kid, a great player. So, I’m just really happy for her,” Kirkwood coach Dana Oppermann said.
"The 10 seniors have been together all that time and this is just the reward for all that hard work," Parkway South coach Dave Richardson said.
